Restoring a 1915 Colonial Revival house
New Kitchen

After we moved in, the kitchen needed some immediate attention to make it usable. None of the early 1990s appliances were in working order and the whole room was an eyesore. We plan to eventually give the kitchen a complete remodel, but the room needed work just to get us through the next few years. We had to get a new stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher to replace the distressed ones that came with the house. We also painted the walls, the 1960s cabinets, and added some new cabinet hardware. New ceiling tiles to replace the old and stained ones completed our quick sprucing up of the kitchen. Below are a few more pictures of the kitchen after work was completed.
